Vestirse Preterite (Past) Tense in Castilian Spanish

The preterite of vestirse is used to express when someone got dressed at a specific moment in the past. For example, when you want to say “I got dressed quickly this morning” – “Me vestí rápidamente esta mañana.”

This is an e to i stem-changing reflexive verb in the preterite tense. The stem change only occurs in the third person singular and plural forms (se vistió, se vistieron), and you must remember to use the reflexive pronouns.
