Probarse Preterite (Past) Tense in Castilian Spanish

The preterite of probarse is used to express when someone tried on clothing at a specific moment in the past. For example, when you want to say “I tried on the dress yesterday” – “Me probé el vestido ayer.”

The Preterite of probarse indicates specific instances of trying on items.
