The Present Tense of aprobar is used to express actions or states that are happening now or that occur habitually. For example, Yo apruebo el nuevo plan de estudios. (I approve the new curriculum.)

Aprobar is a stem-changing verb, meaning the vowel in the stem changes in certain conjugations. In the present tense, the ‘o’ changes to ‘ue’ in all forms except the nosotros and vosotros forms.
