Chocar Subjunctive Mood in Castilian Spanish

The Present Subjunctive of chocar is used when expressing desires, doubts, or uncertainties about crashing or colliding, for example: Espero que no choquen en la carretera. (I hope they don’t crash on the road.)

Chocar is a spelling-changing verb in the -car verb conjugation pattern. The c changes to qu before the vowels e and i in certain conjugations.
