Chocar Subjunctive Mood in Latin American Spanish

The Present Subjunctive of chocar is used to express desires, doubts, or uncertainties about crashing or colliding, for example: Espero que no choquen en la carretera. (I hope they don’t crash on the road.)

Chocar is a spelling-changing verb in the -car conjugation type. In the subjunctive mood, the vowel changes from ‘o’ to ‘u’ in all forms except nosotros and vosotros.
