Construir Subjunctive Mood in Latin American Spanish

The Subjunctive Mood of Construir is used to express wishes, desires, or uncertainty about building or constructing something, for example: Espero que construyas una casa nueva. (I hope you build a new house.)

Construir is a spelling-changing verb ending in -uir. In the present subjunctive, the u changes to uy in all forms except nosotros and vosotros.
