The Future Tense of continuar is used to express actions that will continue happening in the future. For example, Continuaré estudiando español el próximo año. (I will continue studying Spanish next year.)

Usage of Continuar in the Future Tense

Continuar generally means to continue or carry on, but has several different meanings in the Future Tense, some of which might surprise you.

To continue an action: For example, Continuaré trabajando hasta terminar el proyecto. (I will continue working until I finish the project.)
