Crear Preterite (Past) Tense in Castilian Spanish

The preterite of crear is used to express when you created something at a specific point in time. For example, when you want to say “She created this artwork last year” – “Ella creó esta obra de arte el año pasado.”

This verb follows the regular -ar conjugation pattern in the preterite tense. Note that the ‘e’ in the stem is maintained throughout all conjugations.
