Servir generally means “to serve”, but has several different meanings in the Future Tense, some of which might surprise you.

To be worth it (colloquial, rude): for example, ¡Ja! Eso no te servirá de nada, inútil. (Ha! That won’t be worth anything to you, useless one.)
