The Present Tense of Entender is used to express actions or states that are happening right now or that occur habitually. For example, Entiendo la lección. (I understand the lesson.)

Entender is a stem-changing verb, meaning the vowel in the stem changes in certain conjugations. The e changes to ie in all forms except nosotros and vosotros.

To get along with (colloquial): Por ejemplo, Nosotros nos entendemos bien. (We get along well.)
